Self-contained and 6 non self-contained spots with a Toilet and shower. On windy days you could find the parking lot packed with windsurfers.

Beautiful spot with 6 areas for non self-contained vehicles. Very nice facilities and bins. One major problem is the young people that do a drive by and blare their music at night which want very nice. Other than that, wonderful free place.

Best freedom campsite we’ve bin in nz. Ocean, sunsets, toilet, recycling and a shower. 10/10

Battiscombe Terrace Parking Lot
Lovely spot during the day and sunset however it is ruined in terms of camping by the young riff raft who show up a night blaring their music and yelling. What a shame. There’s a flush toilet and bins for recycle compost and rubbish.

Kostenlose Alternative zu den teuren Holiday Parks in der Umgebung. Es gibt sogar eine Dusche was nicht selbstverständlich für Freedom Campsites ist. Der Parkplatz ist generell self-contained, bietet aber auch ein paar markierte Stellplätze für non self-contained.Kommt man von Norden, gibt es nur ein paar km weiter am Lake Rotomanu noch eine Möglichkeit für freedom camping.
