We dropped in to this shop and enjoyed our visit. The shop has a great display of clocks and we were given great advice. The cafe had a brilliant range of home baked goods. Thanks, you made us feel very welcome

Only giving one star as won't let me give no stars! The service was so slow and we were the only ones in breakfast came before coffee and when we enquired about coffee we were told she only had one pair of hands". When coffee and tea came coffee was good but tea was a crappy tea bag in pot. Breakfast was disgusting undercooked bagel with butter which made it soggy and all the poached eggs were hard boiled! When I left I informed the young girl breakfast was disgusting...I don't normally complain but this was bordering in inedible. I walked out and the manager shouted after me "was I a chef?" A little taken aback I replied no but I have eaten alot of breakfasts and that poached eggs should be runny. He said oh well the customers are horrible too ! Nice customer service .....why would anyone eat or purchase anything here when the staff are so rude!"

Man at the counter (owner?) was quite rude. Said our vintage wall clock (that had an accident) was pointless, and not worth his time to fix, regardless of my offer to pay whatever was asked. Went to the place in Te Miro: wonderful! Said it would be simple to fix, and they were a pleasure to deal with! Go there instead.

Gave Clock World a phone call to see if I could bring my clock in for repairs. Was spoken to incredibly rudely on the phone - hence I will not be taking my clock there. A little customer service and kindness would go a long way! Astounding! I see there are others who have had negative experiences also!

I have read the other three reviews on here and I have to say I agree with the rudeness- as we pass quite regularly I have been here more than once and every time I go in I say Im not coming back! This time I asked for a large trim flat white and a large long black- what do you mean by large?" was snapped out- so immediately got my back up. "and what about the long black? How much water do you want?When my companion said they liked it strong the answer was well you re asking for a "standard" one then- as if it was a crime to ask for a large. The coffee was nice though

Wow had a great time learning about clocks and how they all work. Great owners. You need to go and have a look before it shuts down for good.

For a company who's website claims their service is 'second to none' that certainly wasn't my experience.We took my clock in to be fixed and were told it would be 2-3 weeks to repair. When I called them after 3 weeks to find out when my clock would be back, I was told by the woman who answered the phone she didn't know and wasn't prepared to find out and that it normally took 6 to 8 weeks for a repair to be completed. When I questioned this further I was rudely told they now were not going to fix my clock and then she hung up on me.What a joke! The people that run this business have no customer service ethic nor do they seem to want to.Good communication, follow up and a little bit of service goes a long way but that was too hard for this company to provide. Not impressed!!

Popped in here for lunch, there was a small selection of cabinet food, tea and coffee on offer. The cafe has a small selection of clocks on show.
