Wairarapa Space Science Centre
What an amazing place! With VR to experience the Space Station and a chance to drive a rover! The Planet dome is amazing and the staff are so knowledgeable and passionate about space. Great fun for all members of the family and so reasonably priced at just $5 per person!! We spent 2hrs here and my daughter still didn't want to leave!

Must see if you're in the Wairarapa. Replica Mars Rover, explore the International Space Station in VR, and travel the solar system in their planetarium. Ka rawe!

Wairarapa Space Science Centre
Great little space centre with information about the dark sky reserve, a Mars rover model you can drive around, mini planetarium and VR to look around the International Space Station. Free entry for dark sky reserve information and $5 to do everything else. Well worth it.
