Woolgro

We had Mike from Woolgro Northshore, and right from the start his service was fantastic, we had the woolgro mat put down and true to his word we had lawn popping up within 10days and from there with the irrigation system he setup, everyday it got better.We were told within 4 weeks we would be able to mow it and we did, this way of putting a lawn down was amazing it has turned out to be a very strong outstanding lawn.We would highly recommend both Mike and the product.

Pros: Great service and Mike was easy to deal.But despite following all the instructions the three pieces of lawn they sowed have all died (not sure if it is weather or fungal-related) - see photosOther lawn on the property is fine, so it appears Woolgro is a pretty sensitive product and Woolgro’s guarantee is worthless.So for us at least it was a complete waste of money (in fact it will cost us more to uplift the existing wool weed mat and reseed with a more robust product )Edit: company reached out via email and stated it likely was a fungal infection. As mentioned in my review no other lawn on the property / neighbour impacted so woolgro appears to be a sensitive product. The company offered no solution (partial refund, reseeding etc) so expect to be on your own if things go wrong

Enlisted the services of the Woolgro franchise in West Auckland and am absolutely stoked with the results. The service was fantastic too with regular checks to ensure everything is going well.

Highly recommended this company. They came back a number of times to check the grass was growing, filled in any gaps and were kept us informed.The grass has grown amazingly and looks fantastic. So pleased with how it all turned out. Thanks.

Their service is very professional. Geoff followed up carefully on the progress of the lawn growth. The sprinkler system is well laid out. Geoff reply quickly for my questions. He also taught me how to maintain the lawn. You can clearly see the difference after it’s done. My lawn is so dense and green now.

Highly recommended if you want a lush, eco friendly, real grass lawn that looks and feels amazing. Cheers to Mike and his team for installing pop up sprinklers too.

We had a Woolgro lawn (tall fescue with in-ground irrigation system) installed 5 years ago and it is still fantastic. Attracts many compliments. Our lawn-mowing guy brings his trainee franchisees here to show them what a good lawn looks like. Absolutely recommend this product and the Woolgro installation people, who were helpful and professional.My understanding is that it grows more reliably because it establishes its own root system rather than having the roots cut away as ready lawn does. Certainly worked here! Seeds were protected from birds as it was established, too. Worth every dollar. Thanks!

From start to finish, the guys from Woolgro were excellent. Never thought the job was so involved. Starting from Geoff and Henry, they kept coming regularly to check on the progress of the lawn. It's literally a carpet of lush green lawn. Would recommend them anytime

Absolutely amazing product and service, our lawns look fantastic, we had a nightmare experience with another grass installation company so this was such a nice change. Grant from Woolgro Tauranga was such a pleasure to work with and had great follow up and aftercare. I would highly recommend to anyone.
