My package was ready to be picked up 9:30am Wed in Dunedin, collected over 24 hours later. 3 days later tracking still says 'collected'. Mainfreights 'help' bot on website was useless too. They were going to get someone to help me soon. I wonder if they'll ever get around to shipping it. Not much point having a track & trace if parcels are not scanned, pretty slack and unprofessional. That's the Dunedin branch of the company.

They are delivering white-ware for WINZ. I am a volunteer helping with the re-settlement of refugees. They had a fridge delivered from F&P last Saturday, but couldn't locate it in their warehouse. When found, they were unable to adjust their delivery schedule and the refugees, quite a large family, had to wait another few days for their fridge. I, as a volunteer, have to travel another 22 kilometres (oneway) to meet the delivery team, after I was there the day before and the day after on other tasks. No customer service at all.

Nelson Branch - Call centre staff unhelppful, follow up manager also not helpful nor interested. Truck driver that picks up also needs to be educated as to his requirement when picking up and transporting freight.

I had freight come from Auckand to Nelson.A part was missing when I pick up from depot. They checked there yard but was unable to find it. And said not alot they could do. How about replacement!!

All for automation but this was a massive fail! Selected my delivery slot using a link given and received an sms confirmation. Delivery of my sofa was booked for today between 7 - 4pm, but this was not followed through. Called after 4. Person on the line apologetic for the no show and lack of updates. He said it was not even on the schedule! I am not impressed that I wasted 1 day of leave and that I have to spend another day on the floor watching tv!

Thee worst freighting company in Tasman. Constantly missing deliveries etc so I went to depot and 30 mins later they finally found the pallet. Save yourself time and go to PBT or TNL, better service and the office staff are actually friendly and helpful!

Called the contact person on their delivery texts and this was the rudest person I have dealt with in a long time and this lady is customer facing. I was caught between a retailer and Mainfreight and I don't know or care who made the mistake but she certainly made me feel like it was my problem. Wow! There are plenty of good people looking for a job maybe Mainfreight Nelson needs to look around for someone new.
