Growers of kiwifruit and the like, situated in Karapiro area. Under going an upgrade in the processing and distribution of their product.

Their contractors are not paying good money to the workers. Actually all the contaractors are exploiting their workers. No holiday pay, no any public holiday pay etc. Even in summer season contractors are paying basic wages to workers. Now in winter, for gold prunning their contractors are paying 10dollar per bay. Mark or Migheil(Manager) should take strict action towards contractor. If they are not interested to talk with them it means they are also involved in exploitation of workers. I dont recommend anyone to join Whitehall fruitpackers. Irresponsible management.
