Pleasant Valley Takeaways ( Tauranga)

Normally have fish and chips, which are okay, but decided to try some Chinese food from Young's Kitchen in the form of sweet and sour pork and combination fried rice. The sweet and sour pork was good, but the combination fried rice was absolutely the worst ever combination fried rice I have ever had in my 55 year life. The rice was grey, clumpy and flavourless, with hardly any meat, and lacking in vegetables as well, and I'd say the sauce flavouring had been totally skimped on as well. Normally left over combination fried rice goes in the fridge for a breakfast treat. Three quarters of what we had brought simply got thrown out for the birds to eat, and I imagine even they would have been unhappy. Never going to eat Chinese from this to takeaway ever again. Their fish and chips will be all I get from them in future, as they do a reasonable job on those.

First time I've been here to get Chinese. Got Chicken Fried Rice and it was very dry. Had to add some soya sauce in it. Won't be going back here for Chinese.

Yet to try their food..but I have an Addressed Mail ONLY on my mailbox & yet Youngs Kitchen still put their flyer in my mailbox. Not impressed. Not a good way to get new customers.

Youngs kitchen!!!!!!! This is the worst food I have ever ordered I'm literally throwing up uncooked food....do not recommend not edible and definitely not fresh!Look at the reviews dont they get read!why uber allow them to use their service is wrong....clearly the health department need to be alerted as rotten egg is highly toxic

Good feed last night but my 2 year old girl had way under cooked chicken nuggets. Results of this are self explanatory. Been going to these guys since they opened. Not anymore. Throwing up chunks during her sleep could have killed my daughter if she didn't throw up just before bed. Not happy.

No longer called Pleasant Valley Takeaways where it was only worthy of 1 star, now called Youngs Kitchen with new owners, it is the best fish n chip shop in the area by far.

Awesome fish n chip shop. Now our go to local. Burgers are massive and have epic patties in them. Extremely tasty all round.

The best fish and chips store in Tauranga!I am so impressed with this hidden humble shop that you could easily miss for being a fish and chips store. I admit that I had a personal belief that only kiwis make the best fish n chips, burgers. This beautiful Indian family business proved me wrong.
