Gus is genuinely the best barber I've ever been to. Had very long hair (14+ inches) that I was donating. Left my hair in his hands and got one of the best cuts of my life. Worth every penny

Anybody who gets a haircut or shave, whatever you decide on you will be happy. From my own experiences Im always satisfied. Gus goes out of his way to have nobody else in his barbershop, so if you want chat your in the mood and if you don't that is fine too. Most importantly Im always happy in my haircut I receive. At one point in my life I moved away from Kaikoura for a year and I couldn't find a barber shop that could cut hair way I like.I fully recommend By the blade the best haircut I've ever had

Gus was awesome! We made a Google reservation and it worked well. Gus sat my son up on a skateboard and listened to what he wanted. He was great at connecting with him and chatting with us throughout. Wish we had someone like Gus here in Bloomington, IN!! Highly recommend!
