Kaikoura Fishing Tours
We did a 4 hour fishing trip 14th November. It was awesome, professional and friendly crew. Caught, blue cod, Perch and crayfish from their pots. I would highly recommend this charter company, Tomo and his knowledgeable team. We will be going again soon.

It was a really good experience! We caught perch, bluecod and sharks! Also we got one crayfish per person :)!! The crew are really friendly and help with everything! It was super worth it! Will join this tour again next time. Thanks for having us, Tomo! -The pictures are crayfish sashimi and steamed blue code we cooked ;)

The team onboard Kaikoura Fishing Tours were very welcoming, engaging and helpful. It was my son's first trip on a fishing boat. Naturally he was nervous but the Skipper and Deckhand were awesome, offering encouragement and distraction. Once we got out to one of the fishing spots, my son's nerves were gone.We arrived home with a couple of bags of fillets and two crayfish.Thanks Kaikoura Fishing Tours

One of the best fishing charters! Great hospitality and mindset. Thank you for this awsome experience.If you are lucky you wil get a crayfish! We can't cook it ourself in our campervan so we went to coopers and for a small fee they cook your fish and crayfish!

Now it’s 2mon ago since we‘ve been on this fishing trip. The crew is amazing, helpful and so funny. We caught a lot of fish (a loooooot) and got crayfish as well. We prepared a delicious dinner.I highly recommend booking a trip with these two guys. Greetings from Germany!

The best experience of a fishing tour! Right from booking through to the actual tour was such a great customer experience.Tomo and Shane were absolute legends on the boat and were so much fun to be around.We returned with so much fish and even a couple of crays. Would highly recommend booking with Kaikoura fishing tours if you’re looking at doing a charter while visiting the area.Thanks so much for such a great morning guys!

I hired a private charter for my husband's 70th birthday. He and 11 friends did a 3hr trip. From first contact until the trip was finished Tomo, Anita, Ben and Shane did a fantastic job. They had great knowledge and skills and were excellent communicators. Lots of fish and crayfish were caught, and a great time was had by all. Great value too!

Highly recommended. Two fishing guides were so helpful and friendly. They worked really hard even the boat was rocking hard. They also had a sense of humor. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with them. I caught a big shark! It was so heavy but Tomo helped me catch it.

Kaikoura Fishing Tours
Great for inexperienced people, everything is arranged and all you have to do is bring your sea legs. Even have a cup of tea/coffee from the Skipper Tom. Managed to catch sea perch and blue cod. Not big fishes but good enough. Water is really dèep, and we need a lot of arm power to get the fish up. Lots of cranking. Tom will raise some crayfish traps and pass the crayfish to the guest as well. Great outing for 3 hours. We had really beautiful weather.
