I've been taking my vehicles to Sam since he first opened his business. He is totally honest, reliable and believes in treating his customers with respect and....most of all, honesty.I no longer live in Christchurch but I will drive over a hour to him to have my car's serviced and looked after.As a young man with a young family, he has built his business up from word of mouth and I will always recommend him.

I'm new to using Sam after my workmates raved to me about him and after dealing with him am so impressed with his integrity, honesty and value for money. I've passed his services in to two others who are just as happy after sending their vehicles there and another has Mechanics on Grafton in their sites for when the next need a mechanic. Couldn't ask for better.

I booked an appointment for full service of my car. Doesn’t seems like he have done anything as he service my car in like 10 minutes and I paid 120 for his 10 minutes. Won’t recommend anyone to go for service there as it’s completely wastage of money over there . He didn’t even drain the old oil just filled the new on top of old one which can be done at home as well. Wasted my money don’t want anyone else to do the same .

Had my first experience at Mechanics on Grafton today and I am so pleased with the service.Sam is a super friendly, kind and knowledgeable mechanic and I will be recommending this place to anyone that needs work done. Thanks for talking to me in a way that my car illiterate self would understand :)

My partner and I have had our cars serviced this week from Sam. Very honest, efficient and trustworthy mechanic. I had a few issues that I expected coming and he took the time to explain and show me exactly what my options were. Highly recommended.

I called Sam to get a WoF and oil/air filter change, and he was able to fit me in the very next day. Very friendly and accommodating to our schedules (to drop off and pick up the car), and he called us to keep us informed about the details (result of the WoF, pick up time possibility). Quick turnaround as well, he had the car ready the same day.

It was my first time taking our well used, well loved Subaru to Sam at Mechanics on Grafton, and he has got it running like new again. Honest, friendly, reliable and well priced - we will definitely be bringing our vehicles back in future and highly recommend others do the same.
