Takaka Village Market
So decided to pay a visit while having a stay over in Takaka. Went to enter with our dogs, then approached by a person claiming to be the site manager who stated we can't bring our dogs in because it's not allowed on their permit"

Takaka Village Market
Was told we couldn't have our dog in the market due to permit reasons, fair, however if you are going to have one rule for visitors that needs to be the same for Stall holders. Stall holders had dogs, I managed to count 5 dogs tied up at stalls, one even guarding the entrance into the market. Totally unacceptable if the council says no dogs.

I recommended the 2 competing (& adjacent) bakery stands. Big range & top quality. The fruit danish was as good as I've ever had.

A nice wee market but sadly the rain god's didn't like us and only a few hardly soles turned up. Purchased some nice veges and will return.

Stalls included fruit n vegetables, pastries, cheese, honey, coffee, art, and second-hand clothing/tools/antique. Plus, a couple of muso's on saxophone and a telecaster did a good job. Would be nice to see a few more Stalls though.

Lovely wee market. Good to go early in the morning before it gets busy. Had the best chai latte from the wee coffee truck. Heaps of clothing and jewelry and Crystals with a side of food.
