Had awesome home style roast beef for dinner tonight. Great service, fire going, relaxed atmosphere. We felt at home & left with full tummies.

Great staff! We went there the three nights we were in Reefton. Food was consistent and good quality. Was one of the best roasts I have had. Only thing is the building could do with some TLC.

Gotta love an old school kiwi pub, friendly locals and decent prices.. However don't love the grumpy old school bar staff, rude and confrontational, ruined the taste of me beer. Aparently there's 2 other establishments in this to pick from, 2 out a 3 ain't bad!

After reading so many mixed reviews we had to visit just to see for ourselves.Well it's a good old style kiwi pub with good old style kiwi owners who are very welcoming and were happy to serve us and chat well into the night.Definitely not the place to go if you want someone to run around kissing your feet just a straight up pub.

We had a beer (not a big choice) wine and a roast meal - very tasty. I ordered medium sized - too large for me ... good Kiwi Roast - yum

Duty Manager Cathy was so accomodating & helpful. We were visiting from Australia and found the service very good. I'm a Bar Manager myself and was very impressed with the service overall. Couldn't fault anything-a lovely pub & town.
