Sorry to have to make a review like this I do try to keep them as positive as possible but honest. Riverdale has been our go to Fish and chips + Burger , takeaway for at least the last 5yrs but tonight that most probably will change I picked up our fish and chips which was 2 fish a battered sausage 1 scoop of chips 2 curry rolls and 1 spring roll I was surprised that it wasn’t wrapped in paper.Instead it was served in a small box Pinot gris( wine box) with grease paper on the bottom and in a brown paper bag . By the time we arrived home the food was really cold and greasy my wife had to reheat it in the microwave wasn’t enjoyable at all in the end I gave it to our dog . On a positive note the owner I assume was really up beat and really friendly great customer service it’s a pity the food wasn’t the same. For the sake of those who go back Wrap it in paper in conserves the heat don’t serve it in a box .

Disgusting! Will never go back againHad beautiful burgers once had family here wanting proper fish burgers we got them and half way through took a bite and there was hair in it between the fish there was 3 strands of hair! Checked the other burgers and there was a massive clump of hair almost planted, went to go back and they were conveniently closed 15mins before there normal closing time.. also the service was poor

Lovely variety of food.. Great prices.. I especially like there burger specials.. Lovely staff who are Friendly and quick service.. wait time are never too long. Totally recommend Riverdale takeaways.

Great little place but felt fish n chips were a little overcooked. However I saw and tasted previously and they were cooked perfect. I'm sure they will improve.

A mix up with orders. Some of our order was squashed, steak, egg roll messy to eat, patty in jumbo burger wasn't big enough for the bun. Disappointing.
