Montessori school

My daughter had an amazing time at this school, she learned a lot and was ready to hit the ground running when she started primary school. I would recommend them wholeheartedly!

Fantastic school and teachers

Our two boys went to Smart Start and would highly recommend to other parents. The children learnt so many important life skills, practical and academic, as well as really great values like looking out for others. The teachers are caring and very professional. Smart start has given my sons a great foundation for school and beyond.

When I looked for a preschool for my then 2.5 year old son, I visited around 30 in Auckland’s CBD as well as West Auckland. Casa Montessori in Avondale was the last one we visited.It is so very different from other preschools: the premises are spacious, newly renovated and tastefully decorated; the selection of developmental toys and materials is extensive; the teachers are all of exceptionally high calibre; the child-to-teacher ratio is the best I have ever come across (at the moment it is about 1 to 4); and the environment is just so calm and peaceful.At our previous childcare centre it seemed there was always chaos and frequent biting and scratching amongst the children. At Casa, over the past 12 months we’ve been enrolled, there have been no such incidents or any conflicts with other children whatsoever. The teachers encourage the children to ”use their words” to resolve conflict.Casa frequently organises parent evenings where experts do educational presentations on varies topics; this also serves as an opportunity to discuss any questions/concerns you may have as a parent. There is a weekly Spanish and Yoga classes, the children also learn geography and biology and have a practical skills area, where they learn “life skills” – such as baking, cooking, peeling, pouring, sweeping, and doing the dishes etc. – which help them develop independence and confidence.As a parent, it is very fulfilling to know that my child is at the best possible preschool there is.

Absolutely a blessing in our little girls lives. So much of a change noted in them, their skills and abilities. They have grown so much in just a week with Sunanda. Sunanda has so much patience, love and kindness. Such a peaceful nature and the environment is out of this world beautiful for our little ones. Highly recommend Sunanda.

I have had both my children at Wa Ora, one still attends the older child graduated from the High School last year after attending Wa Ora since the age of 3. This school is AMAZING the staff are all fantastic and I believe it is because of them that I have confident capable and resiliant children who are able to achieve anything they want. My daughter had great time at Koru for 2 and half years. Teachers are very kind and great care for children. She was able to improve her skills by doing her work at Koru.

Both of my kids enjoyed their life at Superstart Childcare. All the staff there are kind, enthusiastic and dedicated to work. We really appreciate all the effort they made! Thank you!!!

Lovely learning environment and high quality teaching resource. My little girl enjoys the everyday fun in Metessori.

We visited all Montessori options in Palmy before choosing Inspiring minds. My son had been in both Montessori and daycare in Wellington so we had prior experience with early childhood options. I genuinely feel like we struck gold moving to Palmerston North and then finding Inspiring Minds. Rihanna leads a caring, nurturing, compassionate team who offer a balanced approach to learning and life. They are all beautiful souls who lead with patience, wisdom and fun. They look to first understand each child's unique attributes and then support the individual whatever that might look like. The ladies lead by example and collaborate. We could not have asked any more of them than what they have give so freely and I consider them all part of our village.
