Just a huge 'thank you' to Jim at Jims Automotive.. Had some serious issues with my now ex-car recently.. Jim and staff were beyond helpful and understanding in my distress.. Highly recommend Jims - Wouldn't go anywhere else.. 5 Stars..

Not a very good service. They are like in a rush all the time and forgot to fill the engine coolant of my car. I brought the car again today and they did fill it with water (I don't even know if it was destilled water) because they didn't have the red engine coolant. Hope not to have any issues with my car. Besides I didn't get any appologies...

Pre-booked a Taxi the day before. It was 40 minutes late, I rang after 10 mins of them being late and they just told me next available" which pretty much defeats the purpose of pre-booking in the first place.Anyway I missed check-in for a chopper flight to work. Not the first time this has happened

Full of praise for Charlie and the boys with the move. Very professional in loading the truck especially that it was a 5 bedroom houseload. All done with a smile and a few laughs along the way. Thanks guys. Highly recommended.

Took my vehicle in with an oil leak hundreds of dollars later was returned to me still with an oil leak unfixed and a sheet of paper telling me where the oil was coming from... very unimpressed. Will not be returning. Off to another mechanic who does more than look.

They couldn't be bothered helping me.I was stuck.No help at all.Reviews are not real.HiTech Autos helped me as soon as I walked in their workshop.30 minutes later driving to Nelson.Hard to recommend this one.

Went to VINZ (4pm ish) after long queues at VTNZ Hanover st. Greeted well by the lady at the reception counter.My first experience to get WoF in Dunedin (used to live in Auckland for 16years). There was only one vehicle being inspected. Saw my car inspected a few minutes after paying fees. Had nice hot chocolate from the machine.4.30 I saw my car driven out of the inspection area out to the carpark. The inspector looked at me from outside an indicated to me that he need 2 more minutes.5 minutes later, the same inspector knocked on the glass wall near where I was sitting indicated for me to go out. Wouldn't it be more proper to talk to me properly instead of knocking on the glass wall? Simple customer service there.I went out, the inspector told me my call failed warrant because of the head lights was too high (or too low?) But he adjusted that for free. So I passed. Eh?He was literally shouting at me, I wasn't sure why, as the area wasn't noisy so I would be able to hear him well even if he talked softly (a bit of manners there).He told me off for parking at the parking area, I checked with the nice lady at reception if it's okay to leave my car there and she said yes it's okay. But this chap told me off (or at least that was how he made me feel).Good I won't have to do another warrant for another year.

Young girl behind the counter was very rude. I wont be back. Toyota is cheaper anyway and more professional

Fantastic family atmosphereI enjoyed the free coffee and cake so yum
