Went to watch Premier football teams Western Springs verses Auckland City match. Unfortunately there was constant rain & the WS club house facilities were not open. There were only portaloo toilet facilities available.I subsequently was informed that the facilities had been handed over to the FIFA Womens World Cup authorities, albeit with no contingency considered for the visiting team supporters, such as, perhaps coffee carts"

A good way to walk or ride from Meola reef to Western Springs. The path on the north side of the creek has steps. South side is an easy ride.

This is an awesome place to play soccer for all ages. THe ground is arrival so you can play there all round. The staff are very good. The carpet,ing is only average. The fields are used 7 days a week so enjoy them. The club website is also helpful.

Such a pretty place. It is very disappointing that people don't clean up after their dogs. As there is a lot of pooh in the grass.
