Waipu Caves Farm Park
Visited the caves today with my boy 8 years old. We absolutely loved it, the caves are awesome. There's still a lot of work that they are doing to the place but when it's finished it will be amazing. Awesome location for it. The lady at reception is absolutely lovely she is so the right person for that job and our guide through the caves was an absolutely warm friendly guy. Thank you waipu caves farm park totally worth it♥️

We took our young one along for a short ride. She had never ridden a horse before and the staff member and horse were lovely with her, the whole experience was very gentle and she loved it. Really reasonable price and definitely worth it. Best to ring with a day or two notice.

My family and I went on a trek led by Sophie and she was absolutely fantastic. We were a group of 8 with mixed abilities, ages and weights and all felt totally comfortable & enjoyed our ride. We liked it so much 3 of us went back for lessons the next day. Thanks so much!! 10/10

Mohaka River Farm
Had a fantastic time away...Horse riding, candle making, hand milking of cows (they offer so many options)...amazing scenery even after all the damage from the cyclone...the guides were super lovely...next to no service so that made for a compulsory chill out time although there is wifi for those that cant deal with the withdrawl symptoms lol...There are different living arrangements for individuals or larger groups...really does cater for everyone...will certainly be going back there!

Beautifully designed tent on top of a hill overlooking lake Taupo and the mountains. Simple but stylish. Also has two bath tubs perfect to watch the sunset in. Highly recommended.
