Homers Donut
The famous Homer Simpson Donut, close to the cafe there is a Donut shop with super delicious Donuts. You should definitely eat some of them.

Homers Donut
A really cool homage to The Simpson's, unfortunately the lack of upkeep let's this attraction down. Potentialy more Simpson related gags for the area would pull a bigger crowd.

Public Trust Building
The PTB is a very distinctive, heritage building of the Edwardian period to be found in Lambton Quay. It was first used by the Public Trust Office from 1909 to 1982. The PTO when established in 1872 was one of the first of its kind n the world. The continued use of the name shows this important historical link even though the PTO moved out a long time ago.The PTB is the only building left that was made from true NZ granite"

A powerful place to sit and feel all the emotions. A wall decorated with names of all those lost.A beautiful and peaceful tribute, often adorned with photos and flowers.

Cape Reinga Lighthouse
Quite the drive up from Auckland but definitely no regrets! The views were spectacular.. its history and what the place meant spiritually were intriguing.:) Disclaimer.. once u park.. the walk to the lighthouse would take u about 30 mins to and another 30/40mins back since its a gradual climb up but the views are worth it.At the lighthouse, u will get to see where the tasman sea and pacific ocean meet. Wow.:)

Cape Reinga Lighthouse
Absolutely my favorite light house in the whole country. It's worthy to travel here even by hitchhiking for several hours from the capital city. Then stay overnight next to the lighthouse and wait for the sunrise over the ocean. It was so wonderful night under the billions of stars above my head.
